What is Cadets?
The Cadet Program is a dynamic, funded program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 across the country. Join the Sea, Army or Air Cadets and participate in exciting and challenging activities that you can’t experience anywhere else. Cadets can receive the opportunity to participate in fun, exciting, and challenging activities such as FTXs (Field Training Exercises), summer camps, and can even receive scholarships through the cadet program!

ABOUT US
A Calgary cadet corps, 1292 is one of oldest Army Cadets Corps in Alberta. The Corps was originally designated the Alberta Military Institute Cadet Corps when it was formed on 22 March 1926. Following the Second World War in 17 May 1947, the Corps was renamed "The Alberta United Services Institute Squadron (Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians))". In 1950 the Corps was incorporated into 2376 Calgary Cadet Corps as A Squadron of the Battalion where it remained until 1955.
